With strong roots in place, it’s time to watch our children blossom. In our Preschool Program, we build on the foundations and relationships formed in earlier classrooms while helping children grow in confidence and independence. Students begin learning early writing and math skills, while still having plenty of time to play, explore, and discover the world around them.

Exploring Wonder & New Horizons
Every activity in our Preschool Program is intentional and child-centered. The Conscious Discipline practices introduced in earlier classrooms continue here in a deeper way. Each morning begins with coming together as a community to calm our minds, connect with teachers and friends, and recommit to caring for ourselves and one another in the classroom.
Through themed learning experiences, children strengthen literacy skills, explore STEAM concepts, and continue building healthy relationships. And no matter what we’re learning, we never forget our roots at The Big Red Barn Christian Academy, hands-on discovery and getting a little messy are always part of the journey.
